Finally we have recover and now we can be simply happy about such a big theatre event that have happened.

During Istropolitana we saw the total of 16 main programme performances and 3 non-competitive performances that sum up to 1055 minutes, which is the same as 18 hours of pure performance time. We handed over 13 prizes by the main and student jury, the festival took place at 6 different locations, we printed 950 tickets, we counted more than 900 entries to the afterparties. More than 210 litres of the cider and 1200 coffees were drank. We drove more than 2 000 km in our cars, more than 39 people came to help us, we gained 310 more Facebook fans on our FB page. We shared 30 posts with the reach of 71 542 people. Our videospots were seen 33 000 times after our performance. We also got 344 new followers on Instagram, the food delivering company must have reached a record. There were two injuries, two fines and countless nice moments, experiences and memories. It’s last day of Istropolitana Project, but you still have a lot to look forward! At 14:00 Fabio Omodei: Wood Prison (Italy) and at 17:00 William Shakespeare: Shakespearean Passions (Armenia). At 20:00 there is Closing ceremony at Divadlo Lab, where we will find out the results of Head and Students jury. We will also announce the winner of spectator’s award. Last but not least will be Closing afterparty at Tanker Boat. Stay tunned!

Wood Prison is a place without emotions, Wood Prison is a place where the Wood Skeletons are The Guardians. When a Human Beings wants to kill himself, immediately before doing this, the Human beings go in to the Wood Prison and they must choose: Become a Wooden Puppet or save themself. In wood prison there is no emotion, Emotions are only present in dreams, a place where you Hind the memory of the fables of the past. Fables have the task of reminding the emotions. A story that lives through the fable of a dream, A soulless world that is transformed … and destroys itself; but if the human being understands the most important subject of the Performance: “You Should have been happy just because of your breathing”. He can save and wants to go back.

“Shakespearean Passions” is a performance-transformer where not only ”Hamlet” transforms to ”King Lear”, but also ”Othello” to ”Richard III”. Within the performance the actors have transferred their acting energy, inner reflection and hidden pulse to the audience. The most interesting thing in this performance in esperanto is that different stage languages are used: from dramatic monologue to breakdance full of youth drive, from stage movement to the polyphonic singing оf а famous Armenia lullaby. From the unity of the seemingly incompatible fragments an esthetic spectacle with profound meaning and an ability to affect the audience emotionally has been performed.

At Tanker Boat will perform bands such as Hypetrain, Stopové prvky asfaltu and Tvoja hláska. We start at 22:00!
